How to Register

Georgians have access to several methods of signing up to vote, including registration by mail and "Motor Voter" registration; unfortunately registration is still not available online. "Motor Voter" registration is offered when you renew or apply for your driver's license.

College and University students can obtain Georgia voter registration forms, from their school registrar's office or from the office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Mail-in registration forms are available from the Cobb Board of Elections and Voter Registration as well as many public libraries, schools and other government offices. You may also e-mail your request for a voter registration form to [email protected], or write to the Office of the Secretary of State, Elections Division, Suite 1104 West Tower, 2 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30334-1505. Be sure to include your name and mailing address.
