Dale Ritchey was born on November 19, 1965 in a small southern Pennsylvania mountain community.

He is the product of three generations of Pennsylvania coal miners. At the young age of fourteen Dale started going away for the summers to work fulltime.
After graduating high school in Pennsylvania he attended junior college in Cleveland Ohio until he joined the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and fire direction specialist for the Army's 18th Airborne Corps. It was his time spent at Airborne School in Fort Benning Georgia when Dale first fell in love with the state of Georgia. In fact after returning home from the Persian Gulf War and being honorably discharged in November of 1991, Dale moved to the Atlanta area and has resided here ever since.
Dale arrived here with only $800 dollars to his name,
An avid outdoorsman and lover of nature, Dale spends much free time hiking and rafting in the north Georgia mountains |
and worked several jobs while he attended classes at Georgia State University and Kennesaw State University. Dale acquired his private helicopter license,
Dale has played with several bands in the Atlanta area |
and tried his hand at several entrepreneurial endeavors, until starting his own underground utility contracting company. He married his wife Yvonne who he first met while stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. In August of 1998, the Ritchey's were blessed by the birth of their daughter, Dessie Mae. Dale is currently a west Cobb homeowner and civic-minded member of the community.
Dale is living proof that hard work, responsibility, along with the opportunities and freedoms we share, are all one needs to be successful. These experiences, many here in Cobb County, are the reasons that Dale is working so hard to make sure that our freedoms and liberties are guaranteed for all Americans and for our future generations.
