Ritchey Campaign Goal – 10,000 Homes by Election Day

Marietta, GA – Grassroots campaigning is alive and well in Cobb County where Dale Ritchey, the Libertarian candidate for the 34th District House seat, has set an ambitious goal for himself and his volunteers – visit 10,000 homes by Election Day. By taking his message directly to the voters, Ritchey believes that he will be successful in his bid to unseat John Wiles, the Republican incumbent.

“I am confident that our grassroots efforts will pay off on Election Day”, stated Ritchey, a Gulf War veteran and small business owner. “Voters in my district have been very receptive to our message of smaller government and fewer taxes.”  

Dale and his supporters are familiar with door-to-door campaigning on a wide scale. Due to restrictive ballot access laws for third party candidates, Ritchey was required to turn in a petition signed by 1,396 registered voters within his district just to get his name on the fall ballot.  

“I believe my volunteers and I are up to the challenge”, replied Ritchey. “I want the voters to know that there is someone out there who wants to provide real tax relief for Cobb families and who does not want to tell them what to do in their private lives.”
