Dale Ritchey Signature Petition Drive Reaches Milestone

Marietta, GA – While most State House races in Cobb County will be uncontested in the general election in November, Libertarian candidate Dale Ritchey expects to challenge John Wiles for the 34th District seat. The Ritchey campaign recently achieved a milestone in their ballot access petition drive when they surpassed the 1000 signature mark.  Mr. Ritchey needs 1396 signatures from registered voters within his district to get on the fall ballot.

"We are excited about reaching this goal", stated Mr. Ritchey. "It means that all the hard work and effort put in by my campaign staff and volunteers is paying off."

"So far, we have visited over 3000 homes within the district during our petition drive. The voters have been very receptive to our message of smaller government and more individual liberties."

The Ritchey campaign has set a goal of 2000 signatures to assure him a position on the ballot. They expect to visit nearly half of the homes within his district during their petition drive.
